Diamond Global Partners Selected By Chinese to Neg
Shanghai, CHINA, July 28--Diamond Global Partners, a Shanghai based company, has been given the full exclusive endorsement of the government of the Jiangsu province of China to facilitate the licensing agreements between companies owning the rights to patents on laminate flooring locking systems, and manufacturers of all laminate and wood flooring originating in that province. This agreement marks the first government sponsored effort to comply with internationally recognized patent regulations in China, and it sets a precedent for the governments in other Chinese provinces, encouraging participation in those regions. Diamond Global Partners, headed by Raymond Kwong, CEO, is in a unique position to manage this effort, possessing strong relationships within both the Chinese Government and the manufacturing sector needed to initiate and enforce these agreements. Kwong holds chairman positions on several important associations, including the Jiansu Flooring Industrial Association, and is the foreign investment consultant for the Wujin People’s Government. "We are pleased to have been chosen to lead this effort," stated Kwong. "It will impact the entire flooring industry in China in a very positive way, and lead to a more level playing field globally." Diamond Global Partners has been holding meetings with key patent holding companies during the past several months in an effort to enlist them as partners in this effort. As of now there are no formal agreements, but progress has been promising, according to the company.
